This means that the Ghost 14 is more suited to heel strikers than the Pegasus 38 because it has that extra 2mm of foam in the heel to soften heel strikes. The Ghost 14 has a drop of 12mm with the Pegasus 38 coming in with a 10mm heel offset. The Brooks midsole also has a uniform midsole density with DNA Loft in the lateral side and the medial side. The Pegasus 38 has a uniform midsole density, resulting in smooth ride transitions.
